Chay Sok

Chair

Chay Sok, a Khmer refugee, was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. At the age of two, he and his family fled to a refugee camp in southern Thailand, where they lived for nine years. In the late 1980s, he settled in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with his parents and four siblings.

Over the years, Chay has volunteered for numerous non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting and preserving the rich Khmer culture and history. As a community leader, he hopes to continue sharing and passing on this knowledge while inspiring the next generation of Khmer youth.

Currently, Chay works as a Senior Software Developer/Analyst for Cardinal Glass Industries, Inc., a glass manufacturing company in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He is honored to lead and be a part of the Cambodian American Partnership of Minnesota and is committed to preserving the Khmer language and culture for future generations.
