Kimsure Proeung Lofton

Kimsure Proeung Lofton is a first-generation American whose parents fled the Khmer Rouge War on separate journeys and were later sponsored by a Minnesota family. A respected leader in the Bloomington community, Kimsure is passionate about advocating for women’s rights, promoting cultural awareness, and fostering financial education to build generational wealth.

She is dedicated to honoring the voices of Khmer ancestors and laying a strong foundation for the Khmer community’s future. Through her work, Kimsure strives to uplift and empower Khmer Americans across Minnesota.
