Veyovouth Lach

Veyovouth Lach was born in 1951 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He attended Law University in Cambodia for two years before joining the Cambodian Navy, where he was stationed at the Ream Naval Base in Cambodia.
In 1975, Veyovouth came to the United States as a refugee after the Khmer Rouge took over Cambodia. Upon arriving in the U.S., he settled in New Ulm, Minnesota, because his sponsor lived there. He attended school in Mankato, Minnesota, where he earned a Hydraulic Technician certificate.
Veyovouth also attended the University of Minnesota for a year and a half, but due to financial constraints, he had to leave school and return to work as a Hydraulic Technician.
In 1985, he made a career change and became a real estate agent. He was fortunate to recognize a growing need within the Cambodian community, as many individuals sought guidance on how to buy homes. His ability to speak Cambodian allowed him to bridge the gap and help many families navigate the home-buying process.
With over 30 years of experience in real estate, Veyovouth has become a trusted resource for the community. Although he is retired due to age, his passion for real estate continues. Many members of the Cambodian community still seek his assistance with buying or selling homes, and he remains committed to offering his help.
With his extensive experience and knowledge of both Cambodian and American cultures, Veyovouth is dedicated to supporting and assisting the Cambodian community in Minnesota.
