Our Story

The Cambodian American Partnership of Minnesota is a nonprofit organization founded by five Cambodian leaders: Chinda Kim Gregor, Lyda Morgan, Sophia Neou, Rothana Seng, and Kim Sin. Their journey began with the successful organization of the inaugural Cambodian Heritage Celebration on September 23, 2023. This landmark event honored Cambodian heritage, history, art, and culture, culminating in an official gubernatorial proclamation recognizing Cambodian Americans in Minnesota.

Driven by a shared commitment to uplifting, empowering, and supporting the community, the founders established the organization to preserve Cambodian heritage and history. CAPMN strives to educate the broader public about Cambodian culture, heritage, and traditions while providing programs for youth and community members to learn about their heritage and foster transformative opportunities for future generations.
