Long Covid
The Cambodian American Partnership (CAPMN) is collaborating with the Lao Assistance Center of Minnesota (LACM) on the MDH Long COVID project to support AAPI communities in Minnesota, focusing on Lao, Vietnamese, Cambodian, and Karen populations. This partnership will lead a Long COVID Community Health Assessment, assist with project evaluation, conduct culturally tailored outreach, train Community Health Liaisons, and build partnerships to improve access to care and support for those affected by COVID-19 and Long COVID.

Tobacco Awareness Project
The Cambodian American Partnership (CAPMN) is partnering with the Lao Center of Minnesota (LACM) and two other local organizations on the Minnesota Department of Health’s Commercial Tobacco Prevention and Control Grant (Tobacco Awareness). This project aims to address tobacco use in the AAPI community by focusing on prevention and cessation. Activities include building capacity through youth programming, community health liaison training, and outreach and education efforts to promote tobacco awareness.

Cancer Health in Southeast Asian Project
The Cambodian American Partnership (CAPMN), in partnership with Mayo Clinic, is launching a survey pilot to better understand the community’s interests and needs around cancer awareness, screening, and treatment. The primary goal of this study is to identify barriers to cancer education and healthcare access within Southeast Asian communities. This project places a particular focus on increasing awareness about the risks of liver cancer related to Hepatitis B and C, with the broader aim of advancing cancer prevention and education efforts for Southeast Asians.

Women's Health
The Cambodian American Partnership (CAPMN) is partnering with the Lao Center of Minnesota (LCM) through the Minnesota Department of Health’s Eliminate Health Disparities Initiative (EHDI) as part of the API Women’s Health Coalition. This project aims to build capacity within the AAPI community to address breast and cervical cancer

Hennepin County Opioid Project
The Cambodian American Partnership (CAPMN) is collaborating with the Lao Assistance Center of Minnesota (LACM) on the Hennepin County Opioid Project, which focuses on delivering opioid prevention education to AAPI communities in Hennepin County. The project aims to reduce opioid misuse, increase access to prevention and treatment, build the capacity of AAPI community leaders and service providers, and foster a collaborative approach to addressing opioid misuse within AAPI communities in Hennepin County.
